Since 2011, Hacienda Oaks Estates has been providing innovative and compassionate programs that focus on skill building opportunities fostering independence and educational, social and vocational skills that will improve the quality of life for young adults with special needs.
Our goal is to create a supported community living opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities in a self-sustaining farm environment.
We provide camps for teen-agers & young adult athletes that are blind/visually impaired. We give them opportunities to experience “extreme” activities that are not offered to them in their daily lives. These camps are provided at no cost to the athlete. The funding for these programs is accomplished through private/public donations.
The Place is a community of believers who are devoted to Jesus Christ and to one another. We are growing together into maturity as followers of Jesus. We are seeking to be intimately in love with our God. We are striving to express His love creatively in all we do – whether in worship together, in witness to our community, and in fellowship with one another. Our vision is to be a place where God is magnified and people are committed to growing together in their relationships with Jesus.
The mission of all of us at The Place is to become disciples of Jesus, intimately in love with God; and expressing His love in creative service, witness and fellowship.
The Place is a Christian community that is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We believe in Jesus Christ and his love for us as expressed in his life, death, and resurrected life. And, in that hope of a new life in Jesus and eternity with Him, we believe that together we can encourage one another and lift each other up daily as we grow into mature disciples of Jesus. As disciples, our desire is to creatively communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community.
Newbury Park Adventist Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist co-educational high school located in the beautiful Conejo Valley of Ventura county, California United States, and was established in 1948. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of the Seventh-day Adventist Secondary Schools and Colleges.
The Newbury Park Adventist Academy is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for our students. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student; preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal, we encourage each student to:
• develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men as stated in
• master the basic academic skills
• value physical and mental labor as the blessing God intended them to be
• cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as the blessing God intended.
In September, 1983, Michael Gotfredson, fondly referred to as Mike G. or Chief Runner, founded Road Runner Sports to provide sports minded people like you with an alternative; the ability to buy quality fitness products at great prices.
Twenty-eight years later, Road Runner Sports can attribute its successes to the special one-on-one relationship it enjoys with you, the customer. That relationship has flourished because our employees (now over 800!) make the most of every opportunity to interact with you.
Road Runner Sports now has distribution centers in San Diego, California, and Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, we have neighborhood retail stores throughout California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, Georgia and Virginia, with more on the way! Road Runner Sports’ size and locations may have changed, but the one thing that remains constant is our commitment to you, our customers, and your passion for running and fitness.
